Winter is a predator with an otherworldly talent for bending women to his desires and stealing objects priceless in both their imagination and worth.  Alexander is a scientist and owner of a Chicago art gallery who witnesses the power of Winter’s lethal charm at work.  Preoccupied with finding Winter and understanding who and what he is, Alexander searches him out.  But every step he takes in following Winter further tangles him in a web of deceit and conflict. 

As he traces Winter’s steps across the globe, Alexander realizes that the fixation can only be resolved by facing Winter himself.  But as he pushes towards a confrontation, Alexander puts both his own life and the life of the women he loves at risk in this twisted and powerful adventure.

About the Author



Maneesh Sharma had a typical Midwestern upbringing in Toledo, Ohio. From an early age, writing and other forms of artistic expression were the ways he expressed his individuality.  His writing tends to emphasize the elements of fiction and fantasy that exist within all humans.  Maneesh has lived in the city of Chicago for ten years, where he is a corporate analyst in the bank industry and an adjunct professor at DePaul University.  He is a singer/songwriter for the alternative rock band Winter.
