Caroline Baker is having a day like no other in Jim Colombo’s The Keys to the Vault.

While playing hooky from her job as an independent soybean trader at the Chicago Board of Trade, Caroline is approached by a man looking for a lift into the city.

As they are driving to his downtown office, the stranger makes another request: he needs her help in retrieving a sensitive file from his office. Jim Colombo is a life-long resident of Joliet, Illinois. He has a degree in art history from Lewis University. The Keys to the Vault is Jim’s first novel. A second novel about a brilliant art conservator who is also an art thief is in the works.
