We Never Truly
Disappear, Just Change to Another Form
Each human being
is part of an endless cycle. In the process of life, man goes through
three stages: animal, mineral and vegetable, according to author
Lafontant Clervil.
His book, The Cycle of Human
Existence, was written to explain the role that Mother Nature plays
in putting the universe in order. Clervil answers the questions he has
asked himself for years about man’s nature and destiny.
This thought-provoking narrative
embraces the theory that the essence of man is eternity, because man
cannot be destroyed according to the natural law of energy conservation,
only transformed. When alive, man is an animal. After death,
decomposition changes the body into the mineral realm. The chemicals and
minerals from the body are needed and used by plants, which produce
foods and medicines rich in the same chemicals necessary to build and
repair the body, sustaining the manifestation of life in man. In this
respect, man’s existence is a non-ending cycle.
Clervil also believes that man,
being a sum of energy derived from and sustained by the universal divine
power, has the ability to do great things.
