Dr. James H. DeGerome’s
The Cure for the American Healthcare Malady is an
intelligent and meticulously researched examination of the inner
workings of healthcare delivery systems in the United States and
abroad.
Dr. DeGerome’s narration
gives a firsthand, no holds barred look at the problems that we
face as a nation with large numbers of families unable to afford
proper medical care.
Many believe the answer to
our healthcare dilemma is to impose a government-controlled
healthcare system, like those that currently exist in Canada,
the United Kingdom, Italy, and France.
DeGerome exposes the fatal
flaws of such socialized healthcare and dispels the myth that
socialized systems provide an improved level of healthcare at
lower cost for all people.
Included in this book is a
comprehensive and complete explanation of the essence of the
healthcare reform debate. You’ll learn specific terminology
that will open your eyes to what socialized medicine really
is and what needs to happen in order for our nation’s healthcare
system to deliver a budget neutral plan. DeGerome’s perspective
is that we can have universal coverage, affordable to all
citizens, without massive increases in personal and corporate
taxation.
Sound too good to be true?
After reading Dr. DeGerome’s
cure, you’ll
understand how simple reforms of private marketplace healthcare
delivery systems and tax deductibility can accomplish the goals
that we so desperately need before our healthcare system
collapses. With the ever-declining economy and healthcare costs
rising exponentially, this book is a must read for everyone
concerned with proper and effective reform of our American
healthcare system.
