Dad’s Masterpiece: The Patricia Masotto Story
By Jeff Clark

From a small town soccer field comes the true story of a bold and determined young girl who would do anything to achieve her dreams – even if it meant going against her father. Author Jeffrey M. Clark captures the firecracker spirit of young Patricia and the loving steadfastness of her coach and father, Peter Masotto. This is a heartwarming and heart-wrenching story of triumph and tragedy that will touch the hearts of budding young athletes everywhere, and the parents who will always believe in them.

On a playground in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, a willful and talented eight-year-old girl named Pat makes the life-changing decision to become a soccer player. But not only does she play, she excels.

This is the story of Patricia Louise Masotto, a superior and gifted athlete who began her promising future in sports in the summer of 1972. Her focus, competitiveness, and determination inspired her fellow teammates as well as her coach, father, and number-one fan, Peter Masotto. Follow the story of father and daughter, coach and player as they begin their journey from Massapequa, on to travel teams in high school and, finally, to college soccer teams.

A life-changing story that will inspire and encourage, Dad’s Masterpiece: The Patricia Masotto Story is a testament to the life of a young woman’s passion for the game and her father’s unending love for his daughter.
