Further books in her Bubble series are Bubble and Buzz, Bubble Saves Misty Kitty, Bubble’s Bath Time and Bubble’s Day at the Beach. 

In this book, Bubble is friends with Butterfly. They enjoy playing and exploring the world together. Bubble is very curious and loves to learn new things. He learns that his colourful friend, Butterfly, was once a green caterpillar. But once she grew up, she became the most beautiful butterfly. This made Bubble wonder what he will look like when he grows up. 

The two swap stories and have fun playing hide and seek among the flowers. They often fly high up in the sky. At the end of the day, Bubble tells Butterfly and all her friends how much Butterfly has changed and asks what he would look like with wings. Everyone laughs and giggles. One of the butterflies tells Bubble that bubbles don’t have wings. Bubble replies that he is happy with who he is.

Joanne Bekis describes herself as a child at heart. Her fun illustrations and stories have enchanted children since 2006. Working in adult education made the author realize that there are many adults who cannot read or write, so she wanted to go back to basics and combine education with fun stories.
